Franklin Garcia (fr4gus) was born in San Jose Costa Rica on October 26, 1980. Son of Franklin Garcia Castro and Aurelia Marin Gutierrez, he grew up in a Catholic family but with space for free thought. His siblings are, Cristina ( the older sister ), Francisto and Daniela

At 8 years old, he had his first contact with computers, showing great abilities and skill with them. But at the same time, his artistic sensitivity showed up, resulting in an excellent combination for him.

He participated in the National Scientific Festival in 1997 sponsored by Universidad de Costa Rica as one of the best presentations from his high-school, Liceo de Costa Rica. <p>Graduated from the Universidad de Costa Rica in 2003 as BA in Computer Science Program, he started to work for Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, Costa Rica’s telecommunications and power monopoly, where he developed new technologies and services for the Costa Rica mobile networks. Some of the project were about integration systems, like SMS , billing and Legacy .

He is also a professor of Computer Science at UCR, in the country’s toughest and most respected CS program, teaching Java Micro Edition (CDC and CLDC 2.0).

He worked in an international research program @list TechNET from the European Union, using Multiplatform Agent Systems (Artificial Intelligence).

He is working for Schematic, one of the USA leading interactive agencies, as Java Developer. Academically, he is working on his Master Thesis in Computer Science, about Multiplatform Agents Systems and Security
